To protect your all-around health, starting from 2022, Heart of Hope will expand its monthly educational seminars on the third Thursday evening of each month, focusing on the care of the critically ill, to a brand new online "Health and Medical Professionals Educational Seminar". We will continue to invite experts to come and present the latest developments and knowledge on a wide range of health and medical related topics via video and take questions and answer your queries. You are also welcome to let us know what topics you would like to hear about/interested in, and we will do our best to invite and arrange lectures that are suitable for the benefit of the community.

Speaker: Alex Tsao, Ph.D.
This course will explore how to prepare for future care decisions and potential changes for people with dementia, including options such as respite care, residential care, and end-of-life care.
Speaker Biography:
- Dr. Tsao is the chair of the Chinese Advisory Council for the Alzheimer's Association in Northern California and Northern Nevada, promoting awareness in the Chinese community. With over 30 years in technology, he worked as a satellite communications manager and founded a wireless network company. Recently, he has focused on community service for cancer, Alzheimer's, and end-of-life issues, serving as president of the American Cancer Society (California Chinese Unit). He is also an advisor for the New Hope Chinese Cancer Care Foundation.
