Associate Project Manager, Part-time

Job Title: Associate Project Manager – Part-Time (Pay Rate: $25-$30; 20-28 hours per week)

High-level Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Project Associate to provide project management support to specialized operation and control of our Hospice organization. Projects may cover regulatory compliancy, continency planning, and controls. We expect this candidate will work 20-28 hours each week. As our organization continues to grow, this position may expand gradually to full-time with additional benefits.

Pay Rate and Benefits

Pay rate at $25-$30 per hour, depends on relevant qualification and experience. We offer part-time employee benefits including Paid Sick Leave; 401K retirement plan with optional company matching.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

Candidate will work with the Chief Office Officer and CEO to:

  • Formalize/document procedures and controls to ensure organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Participate in the planning and execution of contingency planning and emergency preparedness
  • Develop/document operating and accounting procedures
  • Assist in the implementation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and accounting practices
  • Monitor business operations and financial/accounting practices are adhering to the control procedures
  • Ensure coordination between departments/disciplines, services, and senior management, as appropriate
  • Ensure that appropriate service policies and procedures are implemented to accomplish identified outcomes
  • Manage other assigned projects that may arise from time to time

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • 3-5 years’ experience in project coordination and management
  • Demonstrates an ability to motivate people and work independently
  • Knowledge of corporate business management, financial standards, governmental regulations and CHAP standards a plus
  • Special Skills:
    • Must have excellent customer service skills and communication skills both verbal and written
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    • Must be able to maintain confidential information and able to work in a fast-paced environment; meet deadlines and set priorities
    • Ability to communicate with various Managers, Directors and Staff and volunteers effectively
    • Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
